Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions?

We are happy to connect.

  • We focus on residential kitchen and bathroom remodels, along with thoughtful layout improvements, built ins, and finish forward updates. Our work is best suited for homeowners who value quality finishes, careful planning, and a composed construction process.

  • Yes. Many of our projects in the SW Portland, West Linn, Lake Oswego, and Beaverton involve mid-century architecture. We understand homes which reward a light hand and a strong understanding of proportions, materials, and flow. We approach them with respect rather than reinvention.

  • We collaborate closely with designers and can also help guide the design process depending on your project's scope. During the initial consultation, we will recommend the approach that best supports your goals, timeline, and desired level of involvement.

  • We bring abundant attention to detail and keep close communication so that there are no surprises.

We run projects with discipline and intention. That means clear scopes, thoughtful scheduling, superior craftsmanship and a clean job site. Clients often tell us the experience felt calmer than expected, which is our goal.

  • Every project is different, but most full bathroom remodels fall into a mid five figure to low six figure range depending on size, materials and complexity. We discuss investment level expectations early so everyone can make informed decisions.

  • Yes. Because of the level of planning and management we bring to each project, we typically work on remodels that meet a minimum investment threshold. This helps ensure the right fit on both sides and allows us to deliver the experience our clients expect.

  • We take time upfront to align on scope before work starts. This gives our clients reassurance on timelines and investment levels. If changes are desired later, they are documented clearly with investment and schedule impacts outlined before proceeding. No surprises, no vague conversations.

  • Most full bathroom remodels take around seven weeks once construction begins, depending on the scope of work. Larger or more complex projects will take longer. We outline anticipated timelines during planning and keep you updated as the project progresses.

  • Schedules shift throughout the year, but we are often booking several months in advance. Reaching out early is the best way to secure a spot that aligns with your ideal timeline.

  • After an initial consultation, we move into planning and design alignment. Once scope is finalized and finishes are selected, we schedule construction. Our experience tells us that a well-prepared project is the fastest project.

  • In some cases, yes. For master bathroom remodels, we help clients plan around daily routines and access to other bathrooms as needed. Kitchen remodels touch the heart and center of a home and typically require temporary accommodation. We walk through logistics ahead of time, so expectations are clear.

  • We take protection seriously. That includes floor and wall coverings, dust control, sealed work areas, and daily site cleanup. Your home is treated like a lived-ins pace, not a vacant shell.

  • You will have a dedicated person for your remodel project. You will always know who to call and where your project is at.

  • Yes, we are licensed, bonded, and insured, and we are happy to provide documentation upon request.

  • We serve the west side of Portland including Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Tigard as well as West Linn, Lake Oswego, and Oregon City. If you are nearby and unsure whether your home is within our service area, just ask.

  • The first step is a consultation. We will walk through your goals, timeline, and investment range to determine whether we are a good fit. From there, we will outline next steps clearly and without pressure.

  • Some clients reach out early in their thinking, and some come to us with finished design materials. We can help in both situations, and our clients get the most benefit when we start collaborating early in the process.

It helps to think about what is not working in your current space, what you would like to change, and what your ideal outcome looks like. Inspiration photos are welcome, and the most useful input is how you want the space to feel when it is finished.

  • We tailor involvement to your preference. Some clients enjoy participating closely in selections; others want a more guided approach. Either way, we keep decisions organized and communication effective.
